Block Booking Underway

October 17, 2012 | It's that time of year again - start preparing your wishlists for the 2013-14 season.

With block booking meetings around the corner, I am sending out a few house keeping notes to make the best use of our time in Liverpool and to help you prepare for the upcoming block booking season.

1. Please prepare your wishlist of artists that you would like to see tour throughout the Atlantic Region for the 2013-14 season. These lists can be emailed to Andrea by Wednesday, October 31, 5:00 PM. All lists must be received by this date to ensure our block booking list will be complete, up-to-date and available on blockbooking.ca prior to our meetings.

2. A refresher course of the online block booking software will be emailed in early November once the complete artist list has been posted on blockbooking.ca.

3. As discussed at the Atlantic Presenters Association AGM, the policies surrounding block booking will be undergo a few changes before we begin moving forward with the 2013-14 season. Myself and the board are working together to develop a guide for membership (and me!) to follow. This too will be provided to you in the coming weeks.

4. Bi-weekly conference calls will resume after our November meetings. Dates/times will be announced shortly.
