APA May Retreat in St. Andrews by the Sea, NB May 10 and 11

April 2, 2010 | The Atlantic Presenters Association (APA) is pleased to announce the May Retreat will take place at The Fairmont Algonquin in St. Andrews by the Sea, New Brunswick on May 10 and 11. Thank you to the members who participated in the online survey and selected their available dates.

“We're very excited to host our APA May Retreat at the world-class Fairmont Algonquin New Brunswick resort,” says Sue Urquhart, executive director of the Atlantic Presenters Association, “and we're looking forward to applying the “Open Space” format, a self-organizing approach, to our professional development activities.” Open Space meetings operate under four principles – whoever comes are the right people, whatever happens is the only thing that could have, whenever it starts is the right time, and when its over, it's over. For more information about Open Space meetings please visit http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Open_Space_Technology.

The Fairmont Algonquin is the largest resort with conference facilities in Atlantic Canada and is situated along the world renowned Bay of Fundy, overlooking the Passamaquoddy Bay. The APA is planning to program social, team building activities, and we encourage you to visit The Fairmont Algonquin website to discover all the resort has to offer at www.fairmont.com/algonquin.
