Contact East 2010 Announces Showcasing Artists and Conference Schedule
June 7, 2010 | Contact East 2010 is thrilled to announce our exciting lineup of showcasing artists, the conference schedule, and registration information for the event this year in Antigonish, Nova Scotia from September 23-26.
This year we introduced our customized, online showcase website IWantToShowcase.ca in partnership with Ontario. The artists selected for Contact East 2010 represent a wide range of performing arts disciplines from across Canada and feature a collection of folk, roots, rock, blues, jazz, world and classical music, dance, theatre, spoken word, and youth orientated programming; representing some of the highest-quality touring performers in the country.

In addition to performing arts showcases, Contact East 2010 will host an industry-oriented conference programmed to the hilt with provocative speakers, educational seminars, engaging roundtable discussions, and informal meetings. Unlike other music conferences, the schedule allows delegates to attend all programmed activities beginning Thursday, September 23 through to Sunday, September 26.
