Register Today for APA's Annual Block Booking Meeting

October 17, 2018 | ​The Atlantica, in Halifax, NS, will be our host for two-days of jam-packed networking and pitching from your colleagues at our annual Block Booking Meeting taking place December 3-4, 2018.​

ABOUT

This meeting is your chance to get your fellow members excited about artists you would like to bring to your community for the 2019-2020 season. It's interactive and this year there will be something for everyone including:

- Festival Network & Summer Presenter Breakout Session

- Member Exchange Table

- Festival Network pitch opportunities

- Hospitality Mixer

- Prizes + more

Remember, these meetings are suited to ALL members; regardless if you participate in block booking. It is a chance to discuss new and exciting artists and network with your colleagues. There is no obligation to block book!

​HOTEL BLOCK​

We have a room block at The Atlantica Hotel in Halifax at a rate of $119.00​. The deadline to book to guarantee your rate is ​​Monday, November 12, 2018. ​TRAVEL SUBSIDIES ​

This year, travel subsidies will be available on an as needed basis only for APA members in good standing. For full details, including criteria​, ​application form, deadlines etc. click on​ this link.

ARTIST INFORMATION REQUIRED IN ADVANCE

In order to run the meeting efficiently, you must ​​provide ​artist ​information in advance​. This will save us time looking up website and video links onsite. Please​ fill in this document by Monday, November 26, 2018.​

MEMBER EXCHANGE TABLE

​Again this year we will have a "Member's Exchange Table". Please bring your season brochures, festival posters, rack cards, brag books, business cards and other fun branding that you'd like to share. It's your chance to swap ideas and contact information.

Contact East 2018 is a Wrap and Charlottetown, PEI named as host for 2019
