APA Member Invitation to ECMA Events

February 17, 2010 | ECMA 2010 is taking place in Sydney, Cape Breton from March 4-7 and the Atlantic Presenters Association (APA) is excited to announce several activities for members to participate in during the festival and conference.

APA Presenter's Dinner

Date: Thursday, March 4

Time: Peking Restaurant, 355 Charlottetown Street in Sydney

Location: 6:00pm to 8:00pm

At the APA Presenter's Dinner we invite APA members to come together to enjoy a meal, meet new members and catch up with old friends, discuss the weekend's events and the upcoming season.

APA Reception

presented in partnership by Harmony Bazaar Festival of Women & Song

Date: Saturday, March 6

Time: 4:30pm to 6:30pm

Location: Hospitality Suite, Delta Sydney

The APA Reception is an opportunity for regional, national, international presenters and members to meet one another, to share information and do business together. Artists performing during the reception are Coco Love Alcorn, Irish Mythen and Norma MacDonald. Light refreshments and snacks will be served.

Presenter's Hospitality Suite

Date: Open Thursday, March 4 through to Sunday, March 7

Location: Hospitality Suite, Delta Sydney

The Presenter's Hospitality Suite is a full-service work space located in the Delta Sydney hotel. Members are welcome to use the suite as a meeting centre, workspace or a place to relax and unwind. Signage inside the Delta Sydney will direct you to the hospitality suite.

APA Executive Delegate Pass

As part of your membership to the APA you have exclusive access to the international and domestic buyer's activities taking place during the ECMA festival and conference, including the domestic buyers program, pitch sessions and one-one-one meetings.

More information about the pass is included in the attachment, please note the deadline to register has been extended (email krista@atlanticpresenters.ca for the attachment).

Kick-off to Contact East 2010

The Town of Antigonish, Nova Scotia has provided a contribution of $10,000 in support of Contact East 2010, which takes place from September 23-26 in Antigonish and includes a performing arts conference plus 50 live performances of many of the very best Canadian artists in theatre, music and dance. We are seeking nominations for the Contact East Awards, which takes place on September 26th. The Contact East Awards was initiated in 1998, to recognize excellence and achievement in the field of live performance touring and presentation.
